Grant Process/Awards
After less than six months
in operation, the Clarkstown Education Foundation
awarded scholarships to students that demonstrated a
commitment to further integrating technology into the
educational process. At a board meeting held last
spring, the following students received their
scholarships.

The foundation also
provided teachers an opportunity to apply for one of
ten, $500 mini-grants, to be awarded at the same board
meeting. In addition, these teachers were each given a
Smart Board for their classrooms. They were each
recognized for their ability to effectively incorporate
technology into the educational process in a way that
enriches the experiences for all. The winners are listed
